The main Fusion board has a place to buy/sell parts. You might get lucky there.. http://www.fordfusionforum.com/forum/79-ford-fusion-parts-for-sale/

Jerry had those wheels on the right in black chrome 6 weeks ago. Post your cars model and color in your profile so I can live vicariously through your new wheels. Good luck.

Give the guys at Detroit Wheel and Tire a call. What you want is what they do -- what they only do. A real slick operation. They send you the take-offs you really wanted -- you send yours back to them in their boxes. https://detroitwheelandtire.com 248-545-8862 The selection on their website is far and wide but the stock in hand changes every day. They do a lot of deals on eBay. I talked with one of their sales people on the phone (Jerry Quinn at 248-556-4086, or his email). He told me what they had. What I wanted wasn't out there at the moment, so I moved on. I have no relation or incentive to recommend this company. Good luck. oh and.. not sure what wheels you are talking about (picture or link is worth 1000 words..) My dream wheels They look unbelievable on a White Fusion. Here's a video. I can't watch it.. I want those wheels..

Actually your best bet is the regular Ford Fusion forum for (guessing) 95% of your car's features ( http://www.fordfusionforum.com/ ). According to my numbers for every Energi sold there are 150 other Fusions sold in the US and 10 more in Canada. So it stands to reason the regular, default Fusion forum has lots more information on Fusions in general.

I apologize for the offense. The junkyard statement was a joke. When I got my first car you could go to a junkyard and get a new Motor for $400 (without install and other essentials). The fact that a $400 bill would not even buy a rear view mirror these days is a real statement on the state of things. I am not criticizing or making fun of your situation. My jaw is just stuck to the floor in disbelief that a rear-view mirror is worth more than 5% of my car's total value. I would talk more, but I am off to get a Ford ESP (in case my $1963.80 mirror goes out). Cheers

Price to program intelligent access remote?
stlouisgeorge replied to Frank F's topic in Alarms, Keys & Remote Start
I am sure Ford has more to worry about than authenticating that you own the car with the fob. They toss those fobs around like popcorn at the dealership.. I have seen the latest Fusion fob on eBay (unprogrammed and uncut laser key) for $100. There is a special 5 digit number with a "-X" suffix for your Ford master key. (i.e. "12345-X") I am sure your dealer will help you with it. I believe it comes attached as a small cardboard square on the original key-ring from the factory (with a note saying to store it away). While you are getting the master key code for your vehicle, you might as well get the "SecuriCode" aa well. The "SecuriCode" can be found on a credit card sized piece of cardboard with the owners manual. This 5 digit code is used to unlock your car using a hidden exterior keypad on your drivers door (you can change the code in SYNC3). There is an abundance of synonyms I have found (and am collecting for a scrap book) for the 5 digit SecuriCode which include. Drivers’ Door Key Pad CodeSecuriCode“Keyless Entry System” codeFactory Door CodeKeyless CodeKeyless Entry CodeNot confusing at all.. Related.. I just found out today that my car insurance (SafeCo/Liberty) will replace a lost or damaged electronic key fob with no deductable!). Here is a web browser version of your owners manual. I downloaded (by right-clicking and choosing "save link as..." here) a 500+ page PDF file version of the special manual for Fusion Hybrid and Energi and use it instead of the paper one (searchable!). My Ford salesman said a complete set of manuals with the cloth cover runs around $200.- 5 replies

$1900 for a rear view mirror? Not sure I can believe that. In any case, it's awesome Ford tech like this that makes it so much fun to drive (and one more reason to go for the high-end extended service plan at around the price of one rear-view mirror assembly). For $2025, the Cadillac CT6 will provide a rear-view mirror that is not a mirror -- the "mirror" is a TV screen projecting what is behind you in real time. https://www.extremetech.com/extreme/223560-feds-ok-cadillacs-high-res-lcd-rear-view-mirror One review said there is a "lag" between what you see in the rear-view LCD display and what is on road (scary).. Always check the junk yard first - scavenging up a $2000 rear view mirror for $20 is very satisfying..

I suggest opening a fuelly.com account to micro-manage the fuel stats. You can see my profile below. The ultimate is the "600 mile club" (on one tank). I am not there yet. I like the feeling of a warm steering wheel and interior when I get in my car in the morning (not good for gas mileage to warm up the car in remotely, but what the heck -- it's a platinum!).

All other windows (beside the drivers work with 1 touch up/down). Guess I'll take it to the dealer.

I see this topic here and there but not on the Hybrid Driving discussion. I understand I can shift into L any time. I can shift into reverse or park at 75MPH if I want to. Does car ignore L like it does R and P when on highway going flat or uphill? 1. How can I use the L (low) button to boost my MPG? 2. Should I use the downhill button at anytime other than going down a mountain or pulling a motor home (yeah right..)? From the 2017 FFH manual page 147 Low: Low (L) is designed to mimic the enhanced engine braking available in non-hybrid vehicles. Low gear will produce high engine speeds to provide necessary engine braking. This is normal and will not damage your vehicle. In low gear, the gas engine will remain on more often than in drive (D).

Here are some reasons Ford LKS may not work.. Just trying to help.. LKS only activates at 40MPH or higher. Is the camera on the front of your rear-view mirror blocked? (If one of the sensors on the car is blocked you should get an error message on the dash). Is it possible you covered a sensor with a Dallas Cowboy decal?Did you program a MyKey for your Fob with the option set to disable LKS? (one might do this to give the car to a teen who would be flummoxed by such a feature)Are there markings on the road? (You should at least see the two dashed lines on either side of your vehicle). Are you 100% sure have the "available" LKS? (I know you see the display on startup -- just walking through the possibilities) This video from Ford can help also. The video will be "grayed out" until you select your vehicle from the 3 drop downs i.e. (for example "2015", "Fusion", and your version of SYNC) From page 204 of the manual (not 100% sure it applies): You can reset the system by either: Switching the ignition off and on. Stopping the vehicle and then opening and closing the driver’s door. Good luck

Please read page 206 of your owners manual. If you lost it you will have to suffer my half baked explanation and image here: 1. Dashed lines lit up means "Alert" is on. 2. Little "hip" triangles pointing at car means "Aid" is on. I would show the whole display (instead of this tight crop) but then you would know how fast I was going when I took this picture (thank God for Ford LKS!)

This is a [horrible quality] snapshot of the Ford Fusion Lane Keeping display. Please just read page 206 of your owner's manual (this is a hack) Lots going on in this picture: The dashes on the left and right let you know the camera on the front of your rear-view mirror is watching the road ahead and has found (if not white) lane markings to guide you (if you don't see the lines, press the tip of your left turn signal stalk - no it's not broken - we all think LKS is broken until someone tells us about the stalk tip!). The white bars on top correspond to how many seconds you want to be behind the vehicle in front of you (one bar is one second -- close!, two bars is the "two second rule" distance I was taught..) ALERT: [dashed lines parallel to vehicle] If your car wanders over the lane markers you will get a feedback vibration in your steering wheel (amplitude can be set in settings). AID: [Two outboard triangles pointing at the side of the car icon] If your vehicle keeps going over the lane marker (or you are at a high speed -- especially easy to do when you are taking that 45mph exit at 60mph on the freeway) the vehicle will "push" you back into your lane (again the amplitude is configurable). -
How old are those nuts? Good grief. This reminds me I need to find a good shop soon. There are like 25 Ford dealers in St. Louis. I could tell in one visit my dealer (Awfulberg Ford in O'Fallon IL) is a time travel trip to 1980. Yelp me!

The 2013+ available Ford Lane Keeping has three modes: Alert onlyAid onlyAlert + AidIn a review from 2011/2012 concerning the 2013 model year Fusion: Ford’s Lane Keeping System includes three main components: Lane Keeping Alert, Lane Keeping Aid, and Driver Alert. Using a camera mounted in the windshield, the system monitors the car’s position within its lane at speed above 40 miles per hour. If the system is set to Lane Keeping Alert and the driver begins to wander toward a lane boundary without signaling, the system provides both a visual warning and a vibration through the steering wheel to alert the driver. Choose Lane Keeping Aid, and the system will react in much the same way; however, if the driver fails to correct his position within the lane, the Fusion’s electric power steering will gently adjust course to keep the car centered within the lane. Visually, ALERT is shown as active using a display of your car with two dashed lines on either side. AID is shown as active with little triangles shown orthogonal but inside the dashed lines. (sorry about image scaling).. See the dashes? No Aid.. With Aid on (see triangles?) For some reason my "aid" is really kicking in recently. The psychologists call it "negative feedback". It's one of my favorite features of my new FFH platinum.

Indiana Jones & the Laser Key

I hope to heck everyone with a Ford Fusion and dead key fob at this zoo knows where the secret key hole is.. Smithsonian's National Zoo Reports A Missing Bobcat -
My driver window won't go up or down automagically. It didn't off the lot, then it did, now it doesn't. Made a fool of myself waiting for my Culver's in the drive through trying this (didn't work on 2017 FFH..)

Yes. Yes.. RTFM.. But what if your Fob is dead and.. It's freezing cold outside? You are at the zoo and the tiger exhibit barrier (see below!) is breachedThe replacement fob batteries cannot be found? Your manual is missingYou like having a job and you don't have time to find page 63? Page 63 (2017 FFH) I had no idea about this (bad salesman!).

SecuriCode keyless entry keypad problems
stlouisgeorge replied to lsherlockl's topic in Alarms, Keys & Remote Start
So.. Let's say all I have is my SecuriCode.. I can get in the car. Anyway to start? I reviewed my 2017 FFH manual pages 61, 62, and 127. (I lose things all the time..) -
Wake Up!
stlouisgeorge replied to stlouisgeorge's topic in Electrical, Gauges, Instruments, Lighting, Rear View Mirror
My apologies. RTFM. I just like to post stuff to hear people talk about sleeping patterns I guess.. 2017 FFH Manual page 204 The status bar will travel from left to right as the calculated alertness level decreases. As the rest icon is approached the color turns from green to yellow to red. The yellow position indicates the first warning is active and the red position indicates the second warning is active. -
12v Battery Issue on 2017 Fusion Hybrid

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. What an experience! Someone must have sneezed on the assembly line. This why I am probably going for the extended warranty. -
Wake Up!
stlouisgeorge replied to stlouisgeorge's topic in Electrical, Gauges, Instruments, Lighting, Rear View Mirror
I have no idea how to get back to that screen. Had my car one month now. Still find a new display everyday. Took me a two weeks to find the display on SYNC3 to change my accent lights (now orange). Tonight I was driving home tonight in heavy traffic. I was fidgeting with my iPhone a couple of times and the Coffee Cup came up twice. I still have no idea what the button overhead to the right of the driver light switch does (turn off the "puddle lamp"? Most complicated thing I have ever owned. -

How do I make this guage go right or left? What does the left icon indicate? I tried slipping to the next lane without a turn signal (viiiibbraaatttionnn..) and the "needle" didn't seem to move. Discuss..
