  1. I just received mine today. The size is T125/80R16. When I put into the wheel well, there are about 1-2 inch of extra space all around the tire. So how do I demobilize this thing?
  2. My 2015 Fusion Hybrid SE has 950 miles now. The MPG was about 40 for the first tank of gas. It went up to 44.5 after the second fill up. Now it is 47.0 after the third fill up. It's interesting to see the EPA numbers as 44/41. While 44 is close to my local driving, 41 is no where close to my highway MPG. I got about 48-50 on the Hwy. It's probably because I was driving slow (65 MPG at most, because it is still in break-in period).
  3. Page 279: Chapter: Vehicle care Section: Vehicle storage Start the engine every 15 days for a minimum of 15 minutes. Run at fast idle with the climate controls set to defrost until the engine reaches normal operating temperature. With your foot on the brake, shift through all the gears while the engine is running.
  4. I bought my FFH in March 2015. When I checked the label, it says the car was manufactured in September 2014. According to the manual, the car needs to be driven at least once every 15 days during storage for the longevity of the battery. So during the 6 months of period, do any of you know if the dealership staff do anything to maintain the HV battery?
  5. Ford's OEM battery is the best PERIOD. My 2008 Fusion still carries the original battery, and the car always start in the first crank.
  6. Maybe they should offer 10-year road-side assistance because of that.
  7. I have some 4 brand new Mustang take-off tires with approximately the same size as the FFH tires. Unfortunately, they are too heavy. I might continue driving without a spare, and bring one of the Mustang tires with me when I go to a road trip.
  8. I notice that my FFH doesn't even come with a jack. I thought I'd at least be able to jack up the car, take the tire off. Find the nail, take it out, and plug the hole, then inflate the tire and put it back. Without a jack, I need to inflate it with the car's weight on? If my tire loses air in the first place, why would I think I can fix the problem simply by re-inflation?
  9. Thanks. For a conventional car, if you start it up in a cold morning and floor it, the engine will have a lot of wear if no damage is incurred. For a hybrid, if you do the same thing, I guess the ICE will have to start. Will the ICE just choose to be easy and refuse to give a high RPM and most power out of it?
  10. Thank you for the e-version of the manual. I appreciate the insightful analyses. It's good to know of this. What will happen if you floor the gas pedal? Will it make the engine revive to its redline? That's the reason I want to read the tach. As to the temperature gauge, for my conventional cars, I want to make sure be easy when the car is cold and drive like the car is stolen when it is hot. So for a hybrid, we don't need to care about this?
  11. Excellent! I'll try to read the manual when I got time. So bad I am often too busy browsing the internet to read.
  12. Thank you. I'll try the right hand side screen later. How about tachometer? Is there a way I can see both the engine RPM and engine temperature? I'm disappointed these gauges are not in the main display.
  13. Thanks. It's kind of weird, but I am not able to find it.
  14. Most cars I drove in the past have a temperature gauge to show you the coolant temperature. I try to drive easy when the engine is cold. Do we have an option to see the temperature of the coolant in the FFH? Thanks.
