acdii is right, the stitching is to keep the buckle for easy reach AND to keep the buckle from bouncing off the door pillar or getting caught in the door jamb when you close the door.

UPDATE: Just got delivery. 2014 HyTi is single exhaust and does have the aluminum pedals. Ambient lighting does not have the cup holder rings. EDIT: Brick red interior looks great! Most pictures will show up more orange in bright sun, but it is a true brick red.
