Just an update, I was having the battery saver message almost everytime the car was driven regardless of time and mileage. Since January when the car completley failed to start becouse it had another issue. That issue required them to reprogram both the body control module and the radio. ( you can read about that in the thread about ford ruining wife's birthday) I have not had the BS message since those 2 things were done. Maybe there is something to one or both of those procedures, relating to the message.

Barsoom, iam the original poster for this thread and i still have this problem daily. It has been in and had the cold weather charging tsb seemed to work at first but it didnt last long and may have been more wishful thinking on my part than anything. I also have a short daily commute at 4.8 miles and i do think this has something to do with it, however with that being said i can do a 15-20 mile trip and still have the bs message. Seems to me that has become something i have just learned to live with ;( I have an appointment this week for some other work yet again, maybe i will have this looked at again as well. Good luck the new Ford reps here are extremely helpful and really can get things done.

My car had to be towed to the dealer and pushed in the shop.

B 13-04-04 2013 Fusion/ MKZ Remote Keyless Entry Functions Inoperative No Crank After Remote Start Event DTC P1595 Built On Or Before 3/12/2013 Some 2013 Fusion and MKZ vehicles built on or before 3/12/2013 may exhibit a concern where all remote keyless entry (RKE) functions are inoperative from both remote controls and/ or the vehicle may exhibit a no crank condition after a remote start event. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P1595 may also be present in the powertrain control module (PCM). This concern may be present on vehicles with intelligent access keys (push button start) and integrated key head transmitters (traditional key start). Follow the service procedure in this TSB to reprogram the radio transceiver module (RTM) and the body control module (BCM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 84.01 and higher

Hermans that does not seem to be the case for me, i get the bs message almost everyday 2 times a day more so when its colder out than when it is warm. My windows maybe fine for weeks and then i will loose one of them usually the passenger or the drivers side, but ocassionaly one of the rears also. Thx Jeff

Just picked the car up from the dealer, here is what I got. Ck vehicle, no start pushed in, ck battery ok, ck oasis and tsbs, retrieved code P1595 with Tsb associated 13-04-04 Reprogramed RTM and BCM cleared codes rechecked ok, needs drive cycle to complete repair, customer to drive. So it looks as they reprogrammed the Radio and the Body control module. Time will tell, but my love of the car is quickly fading. It still needs to go back for the Fuel fill door that wont open again! The rattling in the passenger side door. The rattle in the dome light area. The loss of one touch window controls at random The battery saver message again after the tsb that was already done for that! Seems like a lot of issues for a car thats 10 months old and has 6200 miles on it. Thanks to everyone for your help. I guess the worst of it is my wife had her bday cut short and we are out $350 worth of tickets for the 4 of us. Oh by the way thx again Ford........ :(

Took the wife and kids out for dinner tonight, car drove fine from the house to the restaurant. In the reasturant about an hour, tried to remote start the car from in the building and got no start beeps from the remote but didnt think much of it at the time. We all got loaded in the car and went to start it and got nothing but a check engine light the car would not start. Collision system not working light came on and check engine light stayed on, but no ready to drive light. So needless to say we spent an hour waiting for the tow company and then had to get someone to come pick us up, the tickets i had purchased for an event months ago went to wast becouse we missed the start and had no way to get there or home. I have owned Mazdas since 2003 and never once did either of them quit on me never mind having to go into the shop 5 or 6 times in the first year of ownership. The ford currently has 6236 miles on it, there should be no issues. Thanks Ford........what a joke. Unhappy customer

Acdii, i have a very similar thing happening with my FFH also. I was computing that my mileage was around the same as your around 37 however it is taking more gas in when filling, than what the trip meter says has been used. Im in Ma. and the cold weather started here about Nov. and it seems so did this problem. I think it is an issue with the cold, winterblend gas/ethanol and expansion in the tank. It seems much worse this year in the cold than last year since the "better fuel mileage PCM update in the summer". I also believe there is still an issue with my car running cold, my commute is only 4.8 miles on a cold day i will remote start to let the car warm up in the driveway for 10 to 15 minutes and then drive to work outside temps ranging from 40-25 f by the time i get to work I'm just getting into the first line of normal temp on the gauge.

Eddie sorry you are such an angry individual, but not everyone's circumstance's are the same as yours. It's a big world out there and things are different in other locations other than yours. I did buy a hybrid to save fuel, this you are correct. But since there are approx 12 gas stations in a 1 mile radius on my way to work they all have the exact same price no matter if they pump it or I do. Last i checked i didnt need to be handicaped to have someone pump my gas. But I did look at that i was keeping someone employed and even if i spent a whole 30 cents more for a full tank of gas (given a 3 cent per gallon dif. on a 10 gallon tank fill up) to help keep someone employed i certainly would and it would be my choice to do so. Maybe if you have nothing too contribute to a post you should refrain from your angry nature to insult people and call them lazy. IraF, going to give your fix a try since my dealers adjustment didnt last more than 1 fill and the door stopped working properly again. Thanks for the possible solution.....much appreciated.

So far i have only had to open one time since this has happened, i only fill about once per month so im lucky. But yes the key fits between the lid and the body and i can just lift it enough to get my finger on it and open it. Nothing really locks it in place and honestly i cant get why it doesn't work. The little button thing pushes in and out like it is supposed to and sometimes if i push the lid on the opposite side i can get it to open, which makes no sense. Still havent called the dealer becouse everything seems to be an all day event with them. But before my next fill i will i don't want to take a chance on scratching/chipping the paint. The worst part was i looked like an ass, when i got out of the car to show the attendant all he had to do was push in the lid and it springs open and whala it did nothing.
