I work for a state insurance regulator, so I know a little about insurance. :) The liability portion (bodily injury and property damage)of your rate should be the same no matter what vehicle you drive. It may may be a few dollars different base on safety features (anti lock brakes, airbags, etc.). The difference comes in for the collision and comprehensive cost. The higher the price vehicle, generally the higher the cost of the physical damage portion of your insurance. Other factors come into play such as repairability and so forth. (for example the post above)

Well, I took the wife to look at the white platinum. she said it looks like it has a pink hue to it. I also showed her that the SE hybrid with leather can't come with the appearance package. She said you need the spoiler! I told her that I would need to get the Ti so I can get leather with the spoiler. She said go for it. To top it off, I ended up ordering the dark gray, in a Ti!

I think the voc and Dora are different. I used the order number and dealership code from the Voc and it came back as an escape not my Ti. Can anyone confirm?

It is a Ti. Per ford, my order number and dealer code us coming back as an escape. I took the info right off of the printout from the dealer. I am waiting to hear back from the dealer.

It is a priority 11.... I am not totally convinced yet. Stay tuned.

Thanks for all of everyones help. Today, I ordered....the Ti. Sterling Gray with a sunroof. He was able to give me the 500 and 750 rebate. Retail was 33890 and got it for, before rebates, 31538. I am really looking forward to the push button start! It has a priority 11, so who know when it will be delivered. Thanks again!

What dealer are you dealing with in Columbus?

I noticed same thing that the dealers invoice is a few hundred higher than Edmunds or kbb invoice. Anyone know why the discrepancy? Come to Ohio, I have had three dealers give me prices at kbb invoice.

So is the final consensus that 18 inch wheels affect MPG?

My dealer gave me a price to order a ffh and ffh ti. The ffh had a MSRP if 31785 that had luxury, tech and sunroof. My price was quoted at 29485. That foes not include rebates taxes and fees. The ffh ti has the sunroof. MSRP was 33890. My price is 31582 before rebates taxes and fees. I am ready to pull the trigger, but which one??? They also said 8-10 weeks. how are my quoted prices and which one should I get?

I need opinions..will I regret if I don't get the tech package? I am getting the luxury and sunroof.

Does anyone have the white platinum paint? It looks like it costs extra. Is it worth the extra cost?
