The next step would be the date of the build day within the build week. I may be wrong but I doubt they would have created the VIN if the vehicle was not buildable. It sounds to me like he has a vehicle either on the lot or coming in soon that doesn't have a moonroof and wants you to buy it. I got the VIN for my vehicle last Friday and the build week is April 1. Hmmm...I ordered Titanium mid-December. About ten days ago I heard from my dealer that my order was listed as prioirity one and a VIN number was assigned. No info on delivery was available and there was no guessing when. Last Friday, my salesman called again and asked if I really wanted the moonroof. I said I could live without it. He said vehicles with moonroofs were not being made because of liner issues. Anyone else hearing this about the moonroofs?
