Well, I'm sorry to say that I've jumped ship, or actually never got on the ship. My dealer finally acknowledged that I could order the Hybrid Ti last Friday. I had to e-mail them asking about it - not once did they initiate with me other than sending me some spam about having sales. This led me to start thinking about other cars, which led to wanting the carpool stickers (in CA). Long story short... I ended up leasing a Volt because my commute is about 30 miles and my work has free chargers. I'll revisit the Fusion when the lease is about up (and any kinks in the in the new model have been ironed out). Thanks everyone for your experiences and responses. I was very close to ordering the Ti, but ultimately went a different way.

Sorry, is that pricing before tax and title? or actually out the door? Thanks.

A dealer gave me a local internet quote for an SE: White Platinum, 504A, moon, tech, reverse sensors, and nav for dealer invoice - $500 rebate ~$29.5k before tax and title. Is this in line with what you all have been seeing? It looks pretty good to me but just wonder if there's room for more negotiation this was the quote after only 1 inquiry. I was going to order a hybrid titanium a couple weeks back, but with the delays I started looking at alternatives. Thanks.

Why just one color? Is that how they usually do it? Early this morning I finally got an e-mail response from Ford Customer care (from a question I sent 2 weeks ago). Part of it says: "We understand that you would like to place an order for the new Fusion Hybrid Titanium. At this time, the Fusion Hybrid Titanium can be ordered through your local dealership." So I hope this means things are getting back on track.

My dealer said it would be 2 months before I could order the Titanium Hybrid (after telling me to come in and order it). I'm thinking of going the other way now and getting an SE with just the appearance package, tech, moon, and Nav. I'd be spending $5k less with Ford.

"OK to Buy" Status for Fusion Hybrid Titanium

I guess this might explain why I haven't been able to order. -

Thanks all. I'm wondering if my having an x-plan PIN is making these dealerships lazy. I'll try again. -
"OK to Buy" Status for Fusion Hybrid Titanium

Yes, the Hybrid Titanium. I told both dealerships about others ordering and mentioned both forums actually. They still came back and told me they can't order yet (saying they called some factory rep). Sigh. I guess I'll have to the other dealers in the Bay Area. I just didn't want to get put in to everyone's system... too many e-mails and such. -

How did you guys get your orders in? I've gone to 2 dealerships and both say they can't place an order yet. The longer I have to wait for this the more tempting an SE or different car gets. -
For 2013 Fusion Hybrid Titanium buyers and future buyers

That sucks. I've been looking at aftermarket wheels just in case. Does anyone know how much the standard 18" Titanium wheel weighs? -
This is a great write up. When I price out the the Titanium AWD vs the Hybrid SE with the same options (added the 18" luxury wheel to make it a little more comparable to the Titanium), it comes out to about a $1315 difference MSRP. So is the extra 6 speakers and push button start worth that difference (I with you on the other stuff - don't really care)? I'm debating and more and more leaning towards the SE and using the savings on moon and nav.

Thanks. On the SE I can add reverse sensing/rear camera, Sync/MFT, 110v outlet. I don't see the Sony with 12 speakers options on the build site in any of the options so I'm not sure if comes with the Tech package. Beyond that, I can't get the push button start, LED rear lights, aluminum foot pedals/sill plats, ambient lighting and spoiler (because of the luxury package). Does that sound right? Writing it all down makes the Titanium trim more attractive... although I don't know if I can get over the standard 18" rims. Granted all these things are more superficial than anything.

So is the push button start and spoiler the only things you really get in the titanium over the SE with luxury package + other options?

I'm also a prospective buyer but if the only wheel option is that base 18" then I'll probably give up the push button start and go with an SE. Wish they had the 19" available.
