  1. Srogers, Thanks. That worked. Texting works again. 3.6.2 had taken it away.
  2. Srogers. I have a 2013 Hybrid and get the message that my software is up to date with version 3.6.2. Did you use a trick?? Seriously, what browser did you use? Maybe Ford does not like the two I tried. Thanks
  3. I had the window problem every time I got the Battery Saver message. This would result to a trip to the dealer and a replacement 12 volt battery. The low battery was causing the loss of memory which also switched the audio from usb music to the am radio. Horrible. It took no time to reset the radio and windows but was very irritating.
  4. The last battery was the old version. The service advisor put in the new version based upon the print I gave from this forum as to the RT4 I believe. All I really know is that they did the replacement under warranty as usual. Time will tell if this helps but hopefully I can replace the car before it dies again. Problem being finding what I want without having to get stuff I do not want in a "Package".
  5. My dealer just replaced the 12 volt in my car for the 4th or 5th time. Had the bs message instantly when the car was turned off. Prior to that the Garmin unit would occasionally stay on along with the seatbelt warning light. Took data from Forum on the Garmin shutdown (I have built in Nav but use Garmin on trips since it is easier to use) to help tech analysis of issue. Replaced Air Bag Sensor assembly, RCM, and installed battery BXT 99RT4. Oh for a reliable car.
  6. I have the same problem. Sync web page shows my 2013 Hybrid has version 3.6.2 and that Sync is Up to date. I would like to get 3.7 to see if it fixes the problem created with the 3.6.2 update. That being that texting is not supported with a Motorola Droid X2 since update to 3.6.2.
  7. Check out the Lock Pick site. The video on how to install their product should help you on your product. http://www.coastaletech.com/synclockpick.htm
  8. Sleddog - The interface may be Microsoft but it was Ford that released a vehicle without properly testing all subsystems for use by a normal user. Just my two cents worth.
  9. enrichFLA - Thanks for your posting. Since the forum is also read by people considering the purchase of a Fusion Hybrid they need to see all available user reviews. You are doing a service to the buying public. I am awaiting when I will able to get rid of mine and get one that is reliable. I hate never knowing if I will have available transportation. Enjoy.
  10. They hope you will give up and accept a defective car. At a minimum they need to replace the 12 volt since they are unwilling to find the problem. I suggest you keep pestering and doing everything you can to make Ford spend money on the issue which I believe is the only way they will fix you car. Myself, after 3 batteries and other headaches are eagerly awaiting the time I can afford to replace my 2013 Hybrid with something that consistantly works.
  11. erichFla - I am glad you were able to get rid of the Ford thing and regain your mental health. I have never in 54 years of buying cars had one that was a troublesome and unreliable as my 2013 Fusion Hybrid. The dealership I use has a good service department but the product is defective but I have to live with it until funds allow purchase of something that can be trusted. Good luck and enjoy your replacement.
  12. Read all the Forum links about the 12 volt battery problems and the battery saver message problems. You may wish to reconsider. Also check out the same at the C-Max Hybrid forum. I foolishly bought mine base on the ratings and reviews of the prior 2013 model.
  13. In my opinion the car has a defect in a module or overall design that Ford will not admit to. However, have the dealer check it out and be prepared for warnings about not driving it enough or a usb thumb drive drawing down the battery when the car is off. Funny if not so frustrating. I really miss my 2003 Saab. Compared to the Fusion Hybrid it was trouble free.
  14. Make sure you document everything that happens. Make sure your dealer gives you copies of everything they do to attempt fixes. I waited to long for a Lemon Law fix. Most issues seem to be with the 12 Volt battery that Ford seems to mostly blame the owner. However, for possible hope, my wife has a C-Max that was broken and out of service for about 10 days the first month. She has had no problems with it since. Good luck and sorry. I know well how you feel.
  15. Steve_g_Moore Just keep pestering them. Make them open a new case number. Go to Ford's web site and complain via e-mail. Try another dealer. Or like some of us, figure are mental health is worth more than the frustration of dealing with Ford and buy something other than a Ford. The sad thing is that I bought the Hybrid since my 2011 Fusion Gas had no problems. And it did have the Battery Saver software but not the problems this Hybrid has. Good luck.
