  1. My point exactly. I put a small first aid kit in mine.
  2. You said "that's for CD's", implying that what I said was wrong, this my son is starting an argument. And I am well aware of the posts about what this small area is for. You just always have to be the one that is right, you do this to almost everyone and you are one of the reason I no longer use the Fusion forum. I get tired of post after post and your trying to correct everyone. You are wrong most of the time and I get tired of reading posts from you. Everyone does not have a 51/2x413/16" cd case and nothing much larger than that will fit. I never said the compartment was for gloves, I said "you can put gloves". Maybe I was a little sensitive to the comeback because it was from you but none the less you are always tring to get the last word and make others appear ignorant.
  3. I was wondering how long it would take for someone to start that argument. Did i hurt your fillings, I put gloves in mine. And no where does it say that is for CD's. It's for whatever someone wants to put in it, and for that matter my CD's will not fit in there. This site was so nice and peaceful for a while looks like it's going to get ugly like the Fusion forum it only took a couple of you to ruin the peacefulness. It was nice while it lasted.
  4. They even have a small area on the side of the compartment to place the gloves.
  5. All glovebox doors in all cars close outward in relation to the occupant. Outward is away from you inward is toward you. But seeing some of your other post this does not surprise me that you are so confused.
  6. It looks to me like it was deployed and stuffed back in. I have a picture for you but my IPad has no option to attach the photo at least I can not figure it out. In my picture you can see the air bag but it is much more neatly packed and your tabs see to have been broken. How has the car been since you got it together?
  7. Inward means toward the interior the same as yours. And I'm sure you knew what I was talking about. It's much better said than down and out. Doesn't take away from the fact that a light would be useless.
  8. With this type glovebox door a light is useless so why put something in just to say there is a light. The door opens inward and the overhead dome light is much better than any light that may otherwise be used. I have never seen a light in any car I have owned with this type glovebox door.
  9. I do believe you can remove it by removing the side access panel on the side of the dash and there is a release behind that. Open the drivers door and on the end of the dash there is a side panel held on with clips. Remove this by prying off with trim removal tools and this gives access to the side of the tray. Good luck. To install the trim piece just line up the retaining clips and snap back in place.
  10. This type coating has been used for more than 30 years, any shop that says they have never seen this before is one I would stay away from. I hope they meant they have never seen the coating have a bubble. This coating is extremely hard to remove, it is next to impossible to sand off. Why would you want to remove this it is there for a very good reason? I removed the coating from a 1977 Capri I owned back in 1977 only because I was doing a re-paint and after I started the removal I wished I had left it alone. This is the first time I have heard of this rubber becoming disbanded, get the affected area fixed by a good body shop and don't mess with the rest of it. You wanted good advise and this it, don't listen to anyone that does not even know about the chip coating. And leave it alone this is a premium material.
  11. 35000 trouble free and never had a tank under 40 mpg and many over 50 mpg, live time average is 44.6 mpg.
  12. This is a rubberized coating under the paint used to lessen impacts from road debris. You should not have to worry about corrosion in this area because this is one of the reason this coating is used.
  13. Any automotive leather conditioner as long as it contains aloe and zero alcohol. My last car's leather with 155,000 miles and 11 years still looks great today. I conditioned the leather multiple times a year and the seats had zero cracking and only one small wear mark on the seat back caused by rubbing during entering and exiting the drivers side that is not noticeable unless you look for it. The friend that purchased my car stated the seats looked brand new.
  14. The suit was over turned after her victory because as you said driving style can drastically affect the mpg in a hybrid and this is why Honda won the appeal due to the fact it was not the fault of the car but her driving style. The plaintiff lost, the appeal went to Honda.
