  1. Our 2007 AWD SEL acts normally, but the air is not as cold as it is in our 1997 Thunderbird and our 2000 Focus station wagon.
  2. To be sure you are joking, right? LOL.
  3. $35 sounds like the price for the whole antenna unit, not the price for just the wire (mast) part.
  4. That's weird and definitely a bummer. I don't have a clue. Maybe someone else on the forum can help. A call to the dealer might be in order. Sure hope it is an easy fix. No radio is the pits.
  5. The SEL AWD 17-inch wheel is also 7.5 inches wide, versus 7 inches on a regular SEL.
  6. Chris, Thanks for your reply. We have an '07 with the antenna mast. I, too, am curious about its function. I would prefer a shark fin but can't get enough information to make a decision.
  7. Chris, Did you have the tint removed? Did that fix the problem? Tell us the details about how you found out the tint was causing the problem.
  8. Welcome to the forum Zeke. I can't help with your problem but maybe someone else on the forum can. Keep us updated. Enjoy the forum.
  9. Salisbury, MD, a city of about 30,000 people, has had a Ford, Lincoln Mercury dealer for about 50 years.
  10. A very humorous report, Meelaan. The photo was a big hit, too. First time I've seen such a comparison. Well done. What I wanted when we were shopping was a Mercury tail end on the Fusion body. We finally decided on the Fusion because of its "bold" front end. Our 2007 SEL AWD Fusion had a MSRP of $27,105, which is definitely Camry and Accord territory. We considered both to be bland compared to the Fusion. I just hope we don't regret our decision down the road (in the years to come).
  11. We have an AWD SEL 2007 Fusion with heated leather seats. There is a high and low setting but they DO NOT go off automatically. Manual control, the button, only. They do go off when the ignition is turned off and DO NOT come on automatically again when the car is restarted. It is a totally manual operation on an '07 Fusion.
  12. I can't answer that question but they sure are sharp looking. So is the deck lip.
  13. DL, Another little mystery solved. Thank you. Boz
  14. Thank you for the helpful information Allen. Apparently I have the light switch that I'm supposed to have. I'll try again to reprogram the autolamps feature. It is interesting, I believe, that the fog lamps and the low beams both take an H11 bulb. At least I think they are. The low beam is actually identified as an H11LL and from what I've read an H11 and an H11LL are the same. Does anyone on the forum know for sure? Boz
  15. My headlight switch does not match the one shown on Page 49 of the 2007 Fusion's owner's manual. It shows three positions to the left of "Off" and I only have one click to the left. But the price sticker for the car says it is equipped with "auto headlamps." I tried to set the delayed off function according to the manual and it did not work. Does anyone know the Internet address for the on-line 2007 Fusion manual? Boz
