  1. The last time I took a car to jiffy Lube for an old change was the time they told me that it was time for a rear differential fluid change in my 1995 Ford Taurus. I told them to forget the oil change and give me back my car as I was going to take it to someone who knew what they were doing. Now our cars either go to the dealer or a great local mechanic we use.
  2. We have hit 450 miles with bikes on the hitch rack. Bikes were on the rack for at least 400 of those miles. The majority (80%) of my wife's driving between the months of May and September are with her bike on the hitch rack and she consistently gets 44+ mpg.
  3. This happened to ours as well. The dealer was required to remove the small window and replace it with a new one. After that was done they had it retinted to match the rest of the windows since the tint was dealer installed when we bought it new. I believe there is a TSB or recall on this, but not positive.
  4. I use the USB for my music. I have 8,000 songs on my thumb drive and have no indexing issues.
  5. This is why I did not buy MFT with Nav. I use Google Maps Navigation.
  6. The only thing I wish you could do with the MFT sysytem is add apps (AppLink). Otherwise, we have no issues. Can easily play all music apps through bluetooth, phone connects flawlessly to MFT, can also play turn by turn voice directions through HU while listening to Pandora. Does most of what I would like.
  7. I questioned this back in December of 2013 and a solid answer was never given http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/8112-mft-install-applications-setting/
  8. I disagree with this statement. We have a 2013 SE and we are averaging 42.8mpgs for the lifetime of the car and routinely get over 45mpg. We have had as high as 55mpg (summertime in town) and as low as 36mpg (wintertime on highway). Plugs do not need to be changed untill 100,000 miles. I have pulled a plug and had the dealer look at them during the last oil change and they still look fine. Some of the 2013 Job 1 FFH had issues with mpgs and a number were purchased back from the dealer. I don't think the OP will be able to have that done since the car is 3 years old.
  9. Here is the 30K maintenance from Ford for the 2013 FFH Rotate and inspect tires; check wheel end play and turning noiseInspect engine and motor/electrical cooling systems and hosesReplace engine air filterChange engine oil and replace oil filter when indicated on vehicle message center or every 12 months, whichever occurs firstMEMO: Hybrid engine; Up to 5.0 quarts of oilInspect cabin air filterInspect complete exhaust system and heat shieldsInspect brake pads/shoes/rotors/drums, brake lines and hoses, and parking brake systemInspect and lubricate all non-sealed steering linkage, ball joints, suspension joints, half and drive-shafts and u-jointsPerform multi-point inspection. I believe coolant change is at 100K and transmission fluid change is at 150K. .
  10. Thank you for taking the time to be a moderator here. I know it does take extra time to be a moderator. Your insight and knowledge will be missed. Get healthy is Job 1.
  11. EV+ will go on as my wife approaches her place of work and as we approach our home. I can drive in EV+ for 1.2 miles when approaching our house from one direction. I pass near enough, to the house, for it to go on and then it stays on while I loop up and around in our subdivision before reaching the garage.
  12. We don't get postcards or phone calls. We get the official Ford letter stating the recall or that the parts are now in. Down to only one recall, 15S16 the door latch replacement. Have not received notice that the parts are in yet nor have our doors unlatched by themselves. So just waiting for either outcome. All other recalls have been fixed.
  13. Never had a problem using Firefox. I cant remember the last time I used IE.
