On the Money!

Those who have been members from the first 2013 release know my story on the BD. Back then when I bought the car I did not expect it to get 47 at all, I thought it was a pipe dream, and it was. What I did expect out of it based on 7 years of Hybrid driving and my daily route was 38-43 MPG, low end during winter, and high end during summer. Anything above it greatly welcomed, but not expected. When it couldnt even touch the low end of the expected rating, on a warm day, well I knew something wasn't roght with it, long story REALLY short, I got rid of it, and got the one I have now.

 

She is PERFECT! My winter MPG is holding right at 38 MPG.

 

I have 2 pics of my new daily trip, one from the other day when temps were in single digits, and one from today when temps were near 40.

Isn't it great to have a car this size with all the high tech accessories, a smooth, quiet and well controlled ride and look down at that display to see these mpg's?

Boy, I don't think I'll have another non-hybrid as my DD again.

I suspect that extra 1/10 of a mile on your first trip is what dropped your mpg. :)

Thats the parking lot LOL. Morning trips get lower than evening trips. Could be due to the temps, or just more elevation in that direction. There are a couple stretches going home where I can do 65 with barely touching the gas, and having the EV bar barely register. My lifetime since replacing tires is going back up! :)
