I am dropping off my Z-brid at the Ford dealer in the morning to have them take care of the emissions recall, TSBs 13-10-4, 14-0175, and 14-0037, and SSMs 44558, 44909, and 44624. Should be interesting! :)

Did you get a recall letter? Do you know if any '14's are affected?

I checked the tsb and ssm you listed and couldn't find anything for an emissions recall. Maybe I missed it, but could you specify which tsb or ssm is for the emissions recall?

I'm getting near my 10,000 mile service and will have this checked if I have a copy of the tsb or ssm.

Log into your Ford Owner account and it will tell you if your vehicle has any outstanding recalls.

They are also listed in a Vehicle Health Report.

Yes, we have received two recall notices (emissions and restraint control module) for each of our cars. The emissions recall is here. The .pdf file shows the effected vehicles. :)

 

As an FYI, my SA stated the parts for the RCM recall 14S21 won't be available until September of this year! I sure hope he is wrong about that! :drop:

Have you spoken with your dealer about this? They'll be able to check to see if there are any service actions tied to your VIN. Are you currently experiencing any symptoms connected to them?

Finally got my Z-Brid back from the Ford dealership. All is well in hybrid land! And, I HAVE DRLs NOW!!! They charged me 50 bucks to activate them, but I am okay with that. The DRLs on the MKZ are soooo cool! :) So far the battery saver issue has not reared it's ugly head, but it has only been a couple hours since I got the car back. I love being able to actually turn off the air compressor by turning off the A/C. Only time will tell if the express windows UP, the ambient lighting, and turn signal issues have been successfully resolved. At least everything works as designed now. (Not sure that is a good thing or not. LOL) :yahoo:

Oh, and the NAV update not only fixed the "off road" display, but the POIs in the right cluster appear to be working perfectly now. So far. Hope it's not just a fluke! :)
