Warning sound changes?

Have another strange one. Got in my car to leave and first thing I noticed was when I start the car I get the chime of a door open it lasts for about 10 seconds then stops. None of the doors are open as if I turn the car off and leave key in no beeping and opening a door causes the beep to start. But turning the car back on again same door open chime. Next the reverse and forward warning beeps have changed to a high pitched beep that only comes from the dash not over the speakers like it used to.

 

I read on another forum that this could be a sign of low battery anyone else have any other ideas. I am already out 500$ in rental car insurance fees from the last time my car was in the shop so hoping it something simple.

There is a SSM for this condition I just had this done on mine and haven't heard the change since.

This shouldn't take more than 1 hour most likely much less to update.

 

Just refer them to this SSM # and explain the condition as closely to the wording of the SSM as possible so they actually apply it.

 

Look thru the other ones well while you are there. I had a few applied at the same time like the "one touch up loss" and the "battery safer message" update.
