I have been there years ago and it was impressive back then but this is awesome.

 

Those starts and landings are absolutely amazing. The first airport version I saw had one plane suspended from the ceiling with wires.

If they can slow down the motions of the planes it would look even more realistic. If a real plane moved that fast and stop, everyone would be tossed against the bulkheads! LOL I do wish I had a place large enough to fly in like that 310 is flying in. That would be a blast.

Not necessarily. A quick turn off the runway at the "high speed" taxiway would be the same thing. Garbage haulers (passenger and transport aircraft) do it all the time. So do some bombers depending on where they are stationed. Anything that regularly uses a drag bag, like a B-52, or an F-4, will usually use the full length of the runway before turning off. It's all about scale (size).

 

I was impressed by the R/C pilot's ability to dip a wing to initiate a turn on climb out from a low approach. It's not something you usually do that close to the ground.

 

I've seen a B-52 make some high performance maneuvers in the local pattern. There was a young hotshot buff pilot out of Castle AFB back in the day that was known for having the ability to make a buff stand on a wing when flying the local pattern. He also had a habit of dipping a wing after making a low approach when starting a high AOA turn. I saw him do it a few times when flying with mixed traffic at Travis and Beal. He, unfortunately, mis-judged his abilities one day when doing this and ran out of airspeed and lift. He stood it on the wing and the bird fell out if the sky.

 

Flying stories. Unfortunately, the interesting ones sometimes involve pilot error leadig to unfortunate endings.

the ones I am referring to are the ones where they are pulling into the slot at the ramp, or pulling up to the tanker and stairway. The rest are very close to realistic as you can get, its only the stop starts of some that are little too quick, including the cars and trucks. Just a little bit more linear control and it would be perfect, but thats just how I see things.
