Hybrider Report post Posted January 8, 2015 It took me almost 10½ months and over 10,200 miles to achieve the vaunted goal of obtaining the 47.0 MPG lifetime average, but I enjoyed every minute of doing it. :love_shower: My lifetime calculated value at the pump is lower of course, at 45.5 MPG, but I fully expect the calculated value to reach the 47 mark eventually too. I have you fellow FFH forum members to thank for helping me get here. :hi5: Notice in the pic that there is 10 solid minutes of 60+ MPG on the Fuel History gauge that propelled me over the top yesterday. 4 corncobs, GrySql, hybridbear and 1 other reacted to this
corncobs Report post Posted January 8, 2015 Congrats on that achievement! Mine dropped from 44.3 to 44.1 in 3 days but no wonder in this arctic weather out there.
HighwayJerk Report post Posted January 9, 2015 (edited) Gen I here. The lifetime average since I have owned the car (about 15K miles now) is now 48.2 MPG. Fuelly shows 44.1 MPG which might be more accurate but it also could probably be somewhere between the two as highway driving trips will actually show higher in fuelly then the car), but it is still a nice number especially when I have someone with me. They are like dam you are getting 48MPG with this car.If you drive for it, Gen I can achieve great fuel economy as well. acdii Report post Posted January 10, 2015 My Gen I did great too, irony is the new Fusion is right about the same as the 2010 for my daily drive, but oh so much better of a car, only reason I got the new Fusion was due to the awesomeness of it. The 2010 I had was 100% fine, not one single problem or issue with it.
