dmt1971 Report post Posted November 24, 2014 On the way to work this morning, my 2013 FFH suddenly started shuddering when accelerating from a slow speed (for example accelerating from 15mph to 30mph on a local street). Happened multiple times, then the check engine light started flashing. I went straight to the dealer, which thankfully was only a couple of miles away. Was afraid to accelerate to more than 35mph. Ran a Vehicle Health Report while the check engine light was on, but the website is failing to retrieve the VHR. Is anyone familiar with this? I'll let you know when the dealership tells me what's up . . . At least this happened two days BEFORE we're supposed to drive 400 miles for the holiday . . . hybridbear Report post Posted November 24, 2014 Flashing CEL indicates a major problem as opposed to a solid CEL which normally is ok to drive with. It sounds like a misfire issue. 2 gkinla and GrySql reacted to this
dmt1971 Report post Posted November 24, 2014 Hmm. That does not sit well with driving to Disneyland for the week . . .

dmt1971 Report post Posted November 24, 2014 It's at the dealer. They did not have a loaner available. If it looks like it will be a multi-day issue, I'll ask for a loaner.
lolder Report post Posted November 24, 2014 If it's just a sparkplug or coil it might be fixed fast. 1 hybridbear reacted to this

dmt1971 Report post Posted November 25, 2014 Turns out it was a TSB from either earlier this year or last year. I don't have the paperwork with me at work, but I'll post again later with the TSB number.
