How to dim the side panels in front of the driver?

There are brightness controls for the large center panel (only), for the driver-center speedometer area (only), but I can't find a way to dim the left and right side panels in front of the driver (which to me are way too bright at night). Am I missing something??

Try it with the headlamps on. It allows for individual settings for when the headlamps are on or off.

Same here, I just thought of this discussion as we were riding along with the Auto headlights on.

The 'down' button makes a window open on the display with a bar graph and the bars retreat lower, the 'up' button does the opposite.

All three instrument displays work at once, together, couldn't be simpler.
