On ETIS, I see the following for my 2014 MKZ-h:

"Vehicle Software
Vehicle software information is available for your selected vehicle. Click here to view further information."

When I click on "here" I get the following:

"The information you have requested is not available at this time."

I guess I will check it at "another" time, lol.

It would show the recall on the vehicle page. There is no need to the vehicle software page.

I'm at the dealership now with the Energi to get the A/C button FCIM update done and the one-touch window update done. When I made the appt on Wednesday this recall didn't show up in Oasis. Today when the SA plugged in my VIN to pull up the appointment it appeared so they'll also do this software update today.

Be forewarned that this resets your Lifetime Brake Score & Regen Miles. It also resets the start events counter of how many times the ICE has turned on for those of you using Torque Pro to view that info.

Good thing you only have a few miles on it. :)  I have over 32K on mine now. I will wait until I get the tires replaced before having any updates done that could reset everything.

My rural Dealer did the Recall reprogramming in one hour flat, including paperwork. I was amazed.
They are FFH/C-Max Hybrid certified but not plug-in Energi certified.
Driving home I was unable to notice any performance changes.

Edit: the car still has EV at 80 mph.

Note: for those of us in Massachusetts and CA be sure to get the required Certification of Emission System Repair form from your Dealer.
It is required for any future state Emission checks, in CA it's a bi-annual Smog Recertification.

The first quote is on the vehicle info page. It links to the second page that says the info is not available at this time.

The Click here for further information DOES NOT WORK . If the vehicle info page shows the recall, then that is all you need to know. :)

I just looked at my paperwork now. It states that the recall calls for an updated calibration for three modules: PCM, BECM & SOBDMC.

The OASIS Tech Info page just says this:
This PCM calibration update is part of a coordinated reflash, which will reprogram multiple
powertrain-related modules.

PCM = Powertrain Control Module - (Main engine control module)

BECM = Battery Energy Control Module - HEV or PHEV  (Mounted on the HVB. Manages the condition of the HVB to control its charging and discharging)

SOBDCM = Secondary On-Board Diagnostic Control Module C  (Used to determine if the vehicle is started or if torque is available)

It would be nice to know what parameters this update might be changing. Updates don't always necessarily equate to improvements.

Etis is from Ford Europe and for some reason always shows our cars as a Transit Connect, the rest of the info seems to be correct.

Very true for the Fusion.  Not so for the MKZ.  ETIS knows what an MKZ is!  HA HA HA  So there!  LOL   ;)

Maybe now that the Fusion goes on sale as Mondeo in Europe they might fix that.

I took it out on the interstate and nothing was lost.  I asked the SA actually the question you asked and it had nothing to do with 80 mph+ in EV  , but had something to do with emissions and some other tweaks.

As mentioned above in the Lincoln MKZ it appeared to me that the EV mode lasted longer after the update then before the update.

Approximately 12 miles in town and approximately 7 miles on I-75

I can't be sure, mainly because the temps around here have dropped 15-20 degrees, but the HVB seems to charge faster and the SOC stay higher after this Recall update.

I hope this is the case and not just my imagination.  Just got home from a little 12 mile drive without the A/C on and got 57 mpg's.

Time will tell.

looking mine up in ETIS also says the “Vehicle software information is available for your selected vehicle. Click here to view further info” but when you click you get nothing. So I assume that it’s not actually needing anything since nothing is listed there. But it does have a red item above that for “14B03 - FUEL ECONOMY CUSTOMER SATISFACTION” as an outstanding field service action. Whats that about?

It also says my car is a “saloon” while I have visited a saloon in my car I leave it outside and never perform saloon service inside the car at all.

The 14B03 is the program for lowering the MPG ratings and sending goodwill payments to owners.  A 'saloon' in another term for a Sedan.
