Center console cup holder style

We had the adjuster in one of the cup holder break on our 2013 FFH. Had the dealer replace it under warranty. Picked the car up yesterday afternoon and they replaced the entire center console black cover and cup holders. It looks nice and shiny. Today while driving it I kept looking at them and thinking that it looked different. It is different. The cup holders have been replaced with the cup holders that have the cut out for a cup with a handle opposed to the two separate round holders. Nice!

Here is a pick how the cup holders are now. I think they used the 2014 cup holders/center console.

Very neat! Can anyone with a 2014 verify if their cupholders look like this? My wife's biggest complaint about the FFH is the poor cupholder design. When she goes in the car with a coffee mug she has to make sure it isn't full because the handle causes the mug to sit at an angle in the supholder. For you that issue is solved...

I have a 2014 Titanium Hybrid and have the two separate round hole cup holders. They are not connected as shown in the picture.

It's from a MY '15 I just looked the Ford website and you can see the same cup holder in the picture gallery!

I think CC is correct. The 2015 FFH brochure I got in the mail last week shows the same style cup holder as posted above by jeffo65.

Our dealer had a 2014 FFH on the lot that had the same cup holder design that they installed in our FFH.

So it appears that sometime in the middle of 2014 production they made the switch. Just like how the air intake resonator chamber was added in the middle of 2013 production. If ppl with 2014s start posting their build date & which style cupholder they have I'm sure we can figure it out.

I have two separate cup holders oh my 2014 Hy TI built in July 2013. I also noticed the connected cup holders in a 2014 when I was trying to convince the service adviser that they light up, lol.
