billford Report post Posted June 21, 2014 This is a ssm that came out last month that I saved. Just for reference, OASIS stands for "Online Automotive Service Information System". Dealers use this to access online service manuals and is the main link between the service technicians and Ford. Global Concern Report is one method used by the service technician to report to Ford about any unusual issues with vehicles that cannot be repaired using current repair procedures. That's why its important to complain about everything that concerns you about your car. Ford doesn't know if there is a widespread problem unless people complain. But don't expected some unusual problem to be repaired right away. 44559 2013-2014 C-MAX, Fusion Hybrid and MKZ Hybrid – Discharged 12-Volt BatterySome 2013-2014 CMAX, Fusion Hybrid and MKZ Hybrid vehicles may experience an issue related to discharge of the 12-volt battery. This condition is currently being investigated by engineering. Detailed service information should be available 3rd Quarter 2014. In the interim, inspect the water pump connectors for damage, water and/or corrosion in C1812 and/or the water pump connector. Also observe if the water pump continues to run for longer than 2 minutes after the vehicle has been shut off. Only replace the water pump if damage, water intrusion, corrosion or an operational fault is found. Monitor OASIS for updates and continue to submit Global Concern Reports.EFFECTIVE DATE: 28-MAY-2014 2 hybridbear and GrySql reacted to this
