Am I the only one who can't cut and paste when using the editor to create or edit a message on here ??

It is VERY frustrating at times.

You can cut by selecting what you want to cut and then typing ctrl-X,

Paste is ctrl-V.

Copy is ctrl-C

Yes I KNOW how it is SUPPOSED to work.

NONE of that works for me, including right click and selecting copy/paste from the drop down menu.

 

The "copy" part works.......because I can paste it into other things......but paste into THIS editor does not work.

There is even a little "paste" icon in the header but it doesn't work either.

Maybe another IE11 incompatibility ??

I use IE10 with Windows 7 and have no issues. I also have no issues running the latest version of Firefox on my iMac at home.

Don't use the right click menu.

Just use the keyboard commands.

In the past when I have had these kinds of problems on this forum I cleared all my Firefox history (cookies and temporary files) at the suggestion of another forum member. After doing that all of my problems went away.

I just tried IE11 and had no problems cutting and pasting during an edit of a post.

I don't know what to suggest then. I've been using the keyboard shortcuts ever since I joined the forum.

Same here, have no issue using the keyboard commands using Firefox, IE, or Chrome... so I don't think there's issue with the forum software, but rather something with the OP's client machine.
