Got a deal... FFH SE + options

I finally got a deal for a FFH with the color and options I wanted (1 option less, 3 options more). MSRP is $37264, I got an offer $2469 below that price, out the door. And this is CAD, so let's say ~2680 USD below sticker. Not a factory order but still.

 

Is it a good deal? Is this rebate what you usually got? BTW this is 2014 model.

 

I'll probably accept the offer tomorrow, just wanted to take ~24h to think about it.

As long as you are happy - it's a good deal. The numbers seem to indicate you did and that is all that matters. Getting the color you wanted and the options will make it very enjoyable. When will you pick it up and of course post a picture? What colour did you want? :camera:

The numbers you want to compare are: invoice price, MSRP & dealer selling price before incentives. You should shoot for a dealer price near invoice price before incentives. Dealers like to hide the incentives to make it look like they're giving you a good deal when they really aren't. When we bought the white FFH there was $4000 in Ford cash back. The dealer selling price was right around invoice so we got the car for $4k below invoice after incentives. The dealer had it advertised on their website as multiple thousands of dollars below invoice as if that was their price because they're including the incentives.

If that "out-the-door" price includes the 15% sales tax, then that is a great deal.

 

My car last year had an MSRP of $37827 and with the 13% HST in Ontario my out-the-door was about $37400.

Looks very nice. I wanted that colour but opted for the Tuxedo Black that was enroute. Enjoy.
