New Fusion Hybrid, 2014 or 2015

I want to buy a new Fusion Hybrid asap. I now have a 2011 Fiesta. I doubt the dealer can find what I want, I know they stop taking orders for 2014 this month and next month they will take orders for 2015. They are looking for what I want now. Just a SE with backup camera. Blue of Sunset.

There is a $1000 rebate incentive that I know of right now and a 8 year power train warranty special right now. Would you order the 2014 or wait for the 2015? I doubt there will be a rebate for a 2015 and the 8 year power train warranty. However I think the camera will be standard in 2015.

All Fusion hybrids have an 8 year hybrid components warranty.

Do like I did and search cars.com, Autotrader, and Yahoo auto for the one you want and then see if your dealer can get it for you. If you dont mind miles on it, you can usually have then get the car for you. They will send a driver to the dealer and drive it back. Mine did that for me twice already on used cars.

Yep, mine went and picked up my new FFH almost 300 miles away. No extra charge, but it did have those 300 miles on it when I took delivery.

the warranty he refers to is a "powertrain" warranty. The Ford powertrain warranty is 5/60. One dealer chain in Minneapolis offers a "Lifetime Powertrain Warranty" in a similar program.

Who offers the powertrain warranty? If the dealer does it as standard then there might be no change whether you get a 2014 or 2015.

Yes it was the Fusion Gas that had the extra power train warranty. I know about the hybrid warranty, it used to be 10 years on the prius.

They found exactly what I wanted. It has the rear view camera and reverse sensing system options, in Sunset with dune seats. Sticker is $29395, He said their price is about $27000 most likely $27990 but there is a $1000 rebate. So I might can get it for $27500 out the door. What do you think?

I found another dealer that gave me a price of $26200 plus tax title and tags, everything else is included.
