Visor Screw Covers - 2013 FFH

Recommended Posts

Anyone else have an issue with these? The visor screw cover on the passenger side fell out in November, near our 1 year anniversary of our 2013 FFH. Had it replaced when having the car checked for a slow tire leak that later became worse (thankfully they were able to fix the tire without having to buy a new one). This past week, the one on the driver's side fell out. Next time we're at the dealership we'll have that one replaced. Just wondering if anyone has had an issue with their visor screw covers suddenly falling out.

Are you talking about the clip that holds the visor in place? Or just part of it? I can't quite picture what you mean without a :camera: ? Thanks!!

Took some pictures tonight so you can see what I'm talking about... sorry they're dark. First is a close-up of the cover which fell off from the driver's side. Next is the missing cover by the visor arm. Last is the passsenger's side, how it should look with the visor screw cover installed.

Now we understand!! We haven't had any issues with those covers falling off. When they fall out can they be snapped back into place? Or are the plastic tabs breaking?

The tabs don't break - they just don't fit anymore. Put the cover back in, it'll fall right back out before long. The passenger side one, replaced at the dealership in December, seems to be holding.

GrayStrider,

It sounds like your dealer is handling this for you. If you need a hand, PM me your name, phone number, VIN, mileage, and dealer info, and I'll see how I can help.
