Hybrider Report post Posted August 7, 2014 I like to refer to the White Platinum FFHs as being the "cream"-colored ones. The difference between the two whites is very subtle. But when you get them side-by-side, it makes it much easier to see the beige-iness or cream-iness of the Platinum. On the FFH, I've grown to prefer the light colors: Oxford White, Platinum White, Ice Storm, and Ingot Silver, since the lighter colors show off the snarling grill much more than the darker colors do. The snarl I see sometimes on the FFH grill and headlights remind me of the cartoon cars' faces in the Disney movie, Cars, especially when that cartoon car is snarling. :) 2 tr7driver and hybridbear reacted to this
billford Report post Posted August 7, 2014 Last time I looked at a white platinum, it looked sharp but it was just oxford white inside the door jam areas and under the hood. Looks like the factory just sprayed the extra coats just on the exterior of the car. Also the oxford white may be easier to touch up due to rock chips... scn101 Report post Posted December 22, 2014 I don't regret paying extra for the platinum white, it really does look great. I've noticed that most of the Oxford white vehicles I've seen have a Hertz or Budget sticker on them. 1 GrySql reacted to this
