Is anyone watching the new series Almost Human?

It's a scfi cop show, set in 2048 I believe. There are a lot of fusions in the show, mostly blacked out with flat black paint and some interesting window treatments. The sound they make is kind of a growl, but not like a V8. May be simulating a turbo four, but there are hints of electric vehicles also. Haven't noticed that Ford is a sponsor.

Yes, I noticed them too. They didn't show them for too long each time so it was hard to tell at first. I saw the distinctive hoods and thought they might be. Then I saw the taillights when they were driving down the road at night in one scene and that confirmed it.

There was a documentary about what if the US lost all electricity. There was a small scene where a guy was driving his wife to the hospital cause she was in labor and had an accident. I could tell it was a Fusion from the interior shots, but later they had it in the background with it having hit a tree. It was a Deep Impact Blue, the wrecked a Fusion. :(

Yup, and they're (at least the one the main characters drive) Energi models. So the growl sound is obviously added in, but the electric sound may not be!

Watching my first episode tonight, Not a bad series, and shows the 2013 is going to be around a long time! If the Gov decides to force noise makers on Hybrids, I want mine to sound like that!

I also noticed that they (or at least the main one) is a Ti with a moonroof. The most recent episode also showed that it has an engine block heater.
