Anyone know if LED Rear Combination Lamps Ford High (Full Circle) are the Ti rear lamps?

Recommended Posts

Ordering a 2014 FFH SE and noticed on my invoice that it calls out a feature of 502a (Luxury Package) as "LED Rear Combination Lamps Ford High (Full Circle)". Do the 2014 SEs with Luxury get the tail lights of the Titanium model or is this something else? I appreciate any info!

I looked at the 2013 Order guide and these aren't a part of the 502a Luxury Package according to the order guide for 2013. They are specifically called in out in the 2014 order guide along with a few other new features such as a 4 way power passenger (instead of 2 way in 2013) and chrome surround around windows. Not sure if these were just omitted from the 2013 order guide or if they really are something different.

The 2013s have chrome around the windows even though that wasn't in the order guide and also have a 4-way power passenger seat even though the order guide says "2-way power passenger seat". Hopefully a member who has already received their 2014 FFH will comment on this.

Yea, I hope so too. It's more curiosity at this point as the car is ordered and I'll find out soon enough.

Hello all. Just wanted to comment on this as I have been doing a lot of research the past few months. Only the Titaniums and the SEs with the Luxury Package have full chrome around the windows (i.e., along the top). The "regular" SE and the S do not.

Perhaps but I believe that I've seen rear lamps in the non-lux FFHs that I've test driven.

To add to the confusion, these "LED Rear Combination Lamps Ford High (Full Circle)" are only included in the luxury package on the SE Hybrid. On the SE non-hybrid model they're not listed as an additional feature. There's probably only one person in the world that knows what these are, the guy that wrote the order guide. I'll try to remember to update this thread if I hear back from Ford or when I get my car. Thanks everyone!

So according to the Twitter team, these are the tail lamps from the Titanium. They're included on an SE Hybrid (only the Hybrid) with 502a.

One of our members (Gkinla) upgraded his FFH with those lights, he's ahead of the curve.

Another reason to get a 2014! The 2014 FFH SE has the option to get push-button start and the coveted HyTi taillamps!! Grrr Ford!! :rant2: :redcard:

But this also shows they were listening as these two features were items missing from the SE that many of us early adopters stated we wished were available on the SE.

Yea, my car is scheduled for production this week. Hopefully it'll be here before the end of the month. I'll believe it when I see it. It's looking good though given that they're listed on the order guide and that the Ford team is confirming.

On the SE PBS could go either way for me. The one thing that I really wish the SE had was the better stereo. I love the Sony system in the HyTi, but truly miss the SE luxury seats, far more comfy than the Ti seats.

And the tail lights. The non Ti tail lights are lame by comparison. I'm very curious to see if they are really available in the SE or not.

Unless I'm behind one, wouldn't know. :) I really couldn't tell you what the tail lights look like when lit up, I dont think I have ever been behind my car on the road. I can tell you that cubby under the dash holds a pair of gloves very well.

Hi. I have a Prius but want to trade up to a Fusion. I'm dying to know if se luxury has the same tail lights as titanium. Any definitive on this yet? Haven't had time to get to a dealer.

Only the Titanium has the upgraded lights. The FFH will be a very nice upgrade from a Prius. You won't get as good of MPG, but the FFH is much more comfortable & enjoyable to drive.

I just traded my Prius (second one) for my FFH Ti nearly three months ago and I am very pleased with my choice. As Hybridbear said, the mileage won't be as good but the driving experience will be much better. My wife said the only thing she doesn't like about our new Fusion is the trunk, so I promised not to put her back there!
