auto headlight problem

Well i thought i would throw this out there and see if anybody else has had this problem. My auto headlight do not seem to operate properly, when i go to work in the morning at about 7:30 est they are sometimes on or off depending on the amount of sun there is, which is the way they are supose to work. At lunch time i go out in the bright sun and they are on and i can't see my dash so i have to shut the switch off. I have brought it to the dealer and they "updated my bcm" but my invoice said nothing about that just no problem found.

Do you have a sunshade in the windshield? I've noticed my auto lamps on a few times during the day with my sunshade in the window. They switch off short after I take the sunshade out of the window.

No, no sunshade I feel its more of a temp problem like the photo sensor gets hot and acts up

brought it to two different dealers and no problems found but i have to still bring it back on monday to get a different problem fixed. the advance trac light came on. So hopefully they can look at it again
