Stuff doesn't fall off the glovebox shelf anymore

If anyone is interested there is a C-Max Hybrid owner who has designed a little plastic lip to prevent items falling off the glovebox shelf.

Our dimensions are different than the C-Max glovebox but now that he has checked out the FFH dimensions he can make some for FFH owners too. If ppl are interested they can comment below and then I'll let him know how much interest there is here.

Rubbermaid shelf liner is way far cheaper and it works.....

I can get drawer liner very close to the rubbermaid stuff for $2. However, have no need for it, all I have there is the OM, and it doesn't move. The other items on the shelf I dont touch, they are my wifes emergency YKW supply.

It's at Big Lots or Ollies for about a dollar for a small roll. I've always have some around the house and garage.

hmm havent been to big lots in quite some time. the one I saw yesterday was a large roll, enough for 2 cars. It was in lime green too.

I have it on my nightstand so all my stuff doesn't get knocked around and it lines all of my toolbox drawers. It's also in my trunk (both cars) on top on the battery shelf so my water does not fly around the trunk.

Talking about that shelf, do all cars have that fiber on the shelf? I think I saw a few that just have a plastic shelf.

My wife's Titanium has the fabric on the shelf and things stay put... my SE has Cheap-Charlie plastic and things fall off.

Maybe thats why the book stays put. Never really paid much attention to the "other" car glove box.

The shelf just pulls out, right? So you should be able to buy the Titanium shelf and pop it in!
