I NEARLY got sideswiped on 294 today, but with the awesome handling of the Fusion, I avoided being hit. Stupid moron in a Jeep didnt even bother to check his left when approaching an onramp with traffic coming, I was right next to him and had he just glanced left he would have seen me. Thankfully I have great peripheral vision and saw the moron in time to git out of its way.

with a twist of his wrist,

a sly glance behind,

he avoids the collision,

with the Fusion handling sublime.

 

with grace and great poise,

and so little noise,

the situation is controlled without a car fixin',

as nimble and stable as the great donner and blitzen.

Several years ago I had a Jeep do the same basic thing to me on a freeway in heavy traffic. Had no time to think about it, I had to just act to avoid a collision. I suspect it is a combination of bad blind spots on Jeeps combined with an aggressive nature of Jeep drivers. Face it, Jeeps don't appeal to safety conscious drivers.

I have an excuse, was just released from the hospital and the nerve block and painkillers were still working. :)

I didn't know I was so creative when under anesthesia.

Now I have to remember to stay away from a computer when like that!

No sympathy please, just routine.
