jsolan Report post Posted July 24, 2013 (edited) I was demo-ing the park assist this weekend and twice I was scared it was going to hit the vehicle in front of me so I bailed. Both times I had the solid beep for the parking aid and it was still cutting the wheel. There are warnings that the driver is responsible yadda yadda yadda, but I wouldn't think it should ever hit a vehicle unless I don't control the brake/throttle correctly. Am I right to assume this and I really didn't need to back off? Or is it probable for the car to not know the exact distance and make a mistake? *Edit: I didn't see the other forum. Could one of the mods move this to the "Advanced Driver Assistance Technologies" section? Edited July 24, 2013 by jsolan 1 LEM reacted to this
