I finally made it to the club! I mainly used it to commute back and forth to work and a little interstate driving, but I haven't had to fill up for almost a month! I got 619 miles and I still had 39 more miles to go. I've got a 2015 FF Hybrid Ti

602 miles today and 52.6 average. I am pleased.
Great Job! Looks like you could have made it to 700 miles with that gas mileage. 52mpg x 14 gal tank= 728miles!

After 44K plus miles, I have ffiinnaallyy hit 600 miles. The red low fuel warning (DTE=0?) came on at 11.26 gallons used. Filled up at the pump on slow fueling rate and it clicked of at 11.326. Went two more clicks then rounded up to the nearest nickel (OCD) on the last. Total fuel pumped was 11.723 gallons. Oh, and I recently bumped up tire pressure to 40 psi from 35.

It is interesting that E0 miles happens when there is still more than 2 gallons left, I also noticed this when driving FFH. You could have gotten 700 miles. WOW!

I would like to officially state that after a month of ownership I have joined the club! And if I pushed it just a little bit more could probably have hit 700 miles.. I didnt want to push my luck so I am shooting for 700 this tank.
This is 150 miles round trip/day to and from work from Culpeper, VA to Rockville, MD. 66 (The worlds largest parking lot). I must say I though this car was awesome.. but after this all I can say is WOW.. My previous car was a 2010 Prius.. And I have dont nothing special except migrate the behaviors that I have learned on the Prius over to the Fusion.. I have NEVER seen anything CLOSE to 600 miles on a single tank in the Prius.. So this was amazing.. If i hit 700 miles I will have hit my goal of a single tank for 5 days to and from work.
Thanks to this Forum for some good knowledge and to Ford for a mighty fine car!!!

Excellent job! However I don't know if I-66 is the world's largest parking lot, I-95 (in NoVA and in many states, actually) gives it plenty of competition. But getting such great range makes the parking lot traffic not quite as bad... still sucks, but just not as much.

Thanks Jeff.. I dont drive 95 but I do know you are right that over on that side of VA yeah its the same parking lot so maybe not the worlds largest although for me it is!! Just sayin!

Thanks Paul.. yeah I think this tank I am on now which is right after this one might just be a 700 mile-er.. Second part of your post leads me to a question.. My 2015 Trip counter doesnt show the gallons used like some of the others I have seen. I did some searching and I think this was only available on the 2014's and older-s. Can anyone tell me if this is true? I would really like to know how many gallons I used.. so any suggestions on how I would do that would be greatly appreciated.
Other than that I have to say.. I love this car.. I filled up on Monday.. before heading to work and tomorrow will be Thursday and I still have like 270 miles to go to E.
So since I had a 2010 Prius before this one.. I wonder why was I not getting the same mileage? What has Ford done differently?
Thanks,
Tony

How big was the tank in the Prius? I can get 600 miles on a tank in an Expedition, doesn't mean it's getting better mileage than my hybrid!

Forgot to post this back on Thursday night. I finally made the 700 mile club.. certainly impressed and here are the pics... I pushed it a bit further.. outside of my comfort zone and probably could have gotten more but this for me is good enough.

How do I join this club? Two of the last three tanks were 617.4 and 654.7 and took pictures. I've never got above 700 though; I'm busy and have a lead foot.

I had a Prius C rental last November and it had such a tiny 8 gallon tank I had a hard time getting over 350 miles. It was all highway so was getting about 44mpg, little better than a festiva I had once lol but that had a bigger tank and was stick so had way more zip. The prius c was excrutiatingly slow. Was kinda scary a couple times out in the boons and at least one time had to drive about 45mph for 30 miles to get to the next gas station.

I thought the Prius C got better mileage than that.
So did I. There was a lot of up mountain stuff and trying to keep up with fast traffic but that's about what I get in the fusion all highway if I'm trying to make time @79mph or so. I have only been on one long road trip in it.

Just got 606 miles with 11.2 gallons. Very pleased with the MPG, but had to suffer a bit to get it done. Most of the miles were on side streets and going about 45-50 mph. Also tried to minimize AC use
. Brutal fact is, I did it with the satisfaction that it can be done. Waiting for the day when all my MPG are around 50.
'15 Hybrid with 44K miles, normal tire pressure, regular gas, mostly flat-land and back streets, balloon footing on gas and coasting when possible

I'm not willing to suffer to get high mileage. My best full tanks are with moderate temps, no heat and little AC, no rain, displayed 49+ mpg for the tank. More normal for me (more heat and/or AC, etc) is 46-47 displayed; less in rain. Lots of hills here. That's all fine with me.
