windshield sun screen

I posted some pics of the sun screen I got recently, which just happens to be almost the same color as the car. It fits really well, and is thicker than any I have seen.

Sorry, I should have posted that too. Got it from US Auto Parts (usautoparts.com) and it is a covercraft product. I started at covercraft's web site, and selected the flex shade sunscreen, then ordered it from an authorized dealer, where I chose the color. It was cheaper than going thru covercraft. Shipped it cost 43

At its lightest it still has great heat rejection properties and it is "just" legal for me. $299 from the only dealer in a 100 miles of me though has me thinking long and hard about it.

Just ordered the same sunscreen (but with a silver exterior) from JC Whitney. Was going to use a CarId Coupon but they're shipping price made it not worth it. Looking forward to using it during the long days my car is parked outside at work.

Just received my Covercraft windshield sunscreen through AutoAnything. Looks like I should have ordered the metallic blue instead of ice green. Darned car keeps changing colors on me. Very happy with the quality.

Still looks OK. I did get the blue, and was surprised at how close it came to the car's color

My car is Ruby Red, I went with the silver. I like the sun shade, but I find it to be kind of cheap/weak cardboard.

For those of you with the Covercraft with the camera cutout, it seems unusually big. At least

that's the way mine is and although it works fine, probably lets in more heat than it should.

 

Anybody else notice this? If I had known this, I likely would have gotten the regular one and just

pushed it up as far as it would go.
