Something is bugging me.

So much design detail in the FFH. I love it.

Better than smart, Many things are damn clever.

 

But why do my car keys drag on my right leg as I drive?

It's annoying. I've adjusted the seat and the wheel.

Still there. Not a big key ring either. 1 inch.

 

I will buy a breakaway keyring for now.

But I would have gotten the Push Button Start if I knew in advance.

I was once chastised by the lady at the dealership who took my money when I came in for an oil change. She said you shouldnt have that many keys on your key ring, you can damage the ignition. She had a valid point, and since then I only have the key with the key chain on it(had, both cars are PBS now).

 

However, that key chain also brushed my leg, so I know what you are talking about.

This one is bugging me, too, and I'm lamenting not getting the push button start, so you are not alone in this one, vangonebuy

And for those of us with the big fat Intelligent Access key, it annoys the hell out

of me in my pocket since it so big. Or when I'm not in the car I am always worried

about where to keep that big thing.

 

Saab figured the key thing out, put it in the center console. They didn't want anybody to

bust a kneecap on their keys in the event of an accident - seriously.

Can you leave the key in the car and shut the smart key off? My truck has the key in the console and I used the keypad or my iPhone to lock/unlock or start - I hate keys too

 

If you can turn off the thing that prevents locking the keys in the car so you can Use the keypad - let me know

Speaking of damaging the ignition.

 

 

This is for the bike with the big medallion hanging off and flapping the key around in the wind. About 1500 miles here and I don't expect it to last much longer. Going to just use the key from now on, nothing hanging off.

3 times I have activated the panic alarm because I had the intelligent key in my pocket and hit the center console with my leg as I got in. So the keyless entry has it's moments as well.
