erichFla Report post Posted June 6, 2013 Anybody have a problem of getting a CD stuck in the CD player in their 2013 Hybrid Fusion yet? Ours did today, says NO CD but there is a CD in it and it won't eject. Still under warranty though only 3K miles on it. I have Never had soooooo Many problems with a New car in all my life and I'm 65. Seems like Ford is sticking by it's Logo Fix Or Repair Daily.
terryb Report post Posted June 7, 2013 I've seen upside down CDs hang up. Try inserting a sheet of paper part way and pressing eject,Using another CD in the same manner has worked too, be gentle. 1 erichFla reacted to this

erichFla Report post Posted June 7, 2013 (edited) Is this a standard size CD?Non-standard size CDs are never to be loaded into a slot loading CD player. Yes it's a Standard Sized Retail Music CD and Loaded right side up correctly. Update: It came out this morning after setting in the player over night and turned off. It ejected and boy was it extra warm to the touch. I double checked that it was loaded right side up, it was loaded correctly. I don't think it could have run all night with the key off. Anyway we called Ford and they said to bring it in Mon. - Fri. between 8 am and 11 am because they only have ONE guy that works on the CD players. We are taking it in on Mon. @ 8 , they also told us it would only take 5 Mins. and then they would order the Part. This must be a common problem to these CD players. Yet another UPDATE: We figured out what the problem was with the CD player. Seems there was a Clear Sticker on the read side of the CD. The reason we didn't catch it first time is because it's clear and we weren't looking very hard at it, now we really looked close at the CD and found this Clear sticker stuck to the read side of the CD. It a lens protector type clear sticker about the size of a Quarter and everytime the Laser tried to read it, it would mess it up and report NO CD. Took the sticker off and the CD played and ejected perfectly. Edited June 8, 2013 by erichFla 1 neod192 reacted to this
