Acdii I must have missed a post somewhere... did you order a new HyTi? I have seen you reference it in other threads but I must have missed the one with what you ordered, that is if you did order a new one.

Hybridbear your car looks great! I am so glad I chose the black after seeing all the pictures.

I had ordered one at the end of March to replace the SE I had, then a few weeks later made a deal on a Flex instead, and they kept the order alive but changed it to Black but kept the same options. The reason they changed the color is I had already ordered a Blue standard Titanium prior to this, and after some back and forth decided not to go with it, but he kept it on order. Since it had not arrived yet when I bought the Flex, and he thought it might be on his lot when the HyTi arrived he changed the color.

Little did he know that 2 days after it arrived he sold it to the first person who drove it. However I think Blue is a Jinx for me. The Fusion Sport I had was Blue and we loved that car, but it sucked as much gas as our Flex. I reluctantly traded it for the current Fusion, and its OK, but its a meh car, an appliance, not exciting to drive, though I try, just ask my wife.

I had given it some thought whether to hang onto my current 2010 or get the HyTi after all, and thinking in 2 years or so go and trade it off on the latest, but after putting the numbers together on what its future value would be once the miles add up, now is the time with the least amount of negative equity in it. Looking at 2010 right now with 100K on them they are under 12K retail, in 2 years they would be more like 6K with those miles and more than likely there would be 120K on it or more. By the time the car is finally paid off it would be worth less than 2K, and with 300K on it, who knows how well the batteries will be by then. When I add my car payment and the payment for the warranty, I will be paying less for the new car for the next 16 months. Also when I get bonus' from work I can apply them to the principle and knock it down more and then refinance when appropriate, or apply extra payment. Also going to get GAP insurance on it since this one I plan to keep long term.

Like I said, if the price is right, I will do it, and the price is right.

2 weeks and counting
