Sirius update

Has anyone else ever seen a Sirius update on their screen? It started at 0%, but got to 100% in less than 30 seconds. Music stopped playing during the update, but the screen below stayed on the screen even after the update was done and the music came back on. I had to switch to FM and back to Sirius to get rid of the update progress bar.

I don't spend much time using Sirius, so not yet. I'll listen later today and see if it happens.

Just got that message this morning. I had to do the same thing...switch to FM then back to get rid of the message once it was done. I think Sirius had channel updates. My The Pulse preset is now channel 15. I think it was channel 10 before.

I got that this morning too...what did we get? I had to switch channels to get it to clear too.

How are others feeling about the Sirius music quality in the car with the free trial? I was unfamiliar with satellite radio before getting my Fusion, and the sound quality seems much clearer with FM, Bluetooth and USB than with the Sirius. Does this sound typical? I was hoping for clear hi-fi, and what I'm hearing is so far less than desirable: muffled, digitized and underwater sounding.

I think it varies by station. Also, I think it is a known issue that some settings may not persist, and you have to reset them. For example Stereo vs Surround. Stereo seems to be the default, and if you want surround, you may have to reset over and over.

I Agree that Sirius isn't the best audio experience, but I have enjoyed having it for the first time.

I cancelled all my Sirius services. Never used the music once I discovered Pandora, and really dont need the travel link. Took 30 minutes, had a bad connection, couldnt understand the person and she kept wanting me to use the service on another car. grrrr.

Isn't it amazing you have to push one for English, then you get transferred to a person you can't understand anyway.
