Titanium Pedals and Lighted Door Sill Plates

Recommended Posts

Here are a couple of photos of the Alloy brake and accelerator pedals from the Titanium Hybrid Fusion, and the lighted Fusion door sill plates that I installed on my 2013 Ford Fusion Hybrid SE:

Hi Hybrid 47,

Do you have a part number for the pedals?

Thanks,

APM

I didn't install, but I have a collection of part numbers and rough prices:

Aluminum Sport Pedals
Brake pedal cover part # DG9Z-2454-C - $34.73
Accelerator pedal part # DG9Z-9F83-6C - $69.91

I'm really tempted to change the pedals myself... Has anyone done it? is this a DIY? Any special tools needed?

I found both parts for under $80 including shipping (www.fordpartsgiant.com)

Regards,
APM

Just finished installing the lighted sill plates on my 2013 Titanium and couldn't be happier. I found them on eBay for $173 (instead of the dealer $295) brand new. Came in an OEM Ford box with excellent instructions.

The wiring and wire routing wasn't too difficult but soldering to the connector with limited space was a bit of a bear.

The illumination panel for the word "Fusion" is an opaque plastic and get's its blue color from the LED itself. If one was brave enough they could change the LED for a different color. Would have been nice for Ford to use an RGB LED to match to programmed color of the interior.

I had the LEDs hanging loose after hooking them up and putting everything back together and they are super bright. I was really surprised at how warm they got!

One thing I wasn't expecting is that the top of the word "Fusion" is visible when the doors are closed and provides a nice ambient lighting at night - looks pretty cool and I've gotten positive comments on it.

Happy with the mod! Time to put my <1000 mile OEM sill plates on eBay! ;)
