My shift knob got replaced yesterday. Back in April after my 5th time into the dealer to fix a faulty BLIS radar sensor and fuel door mechanism that wouldn't open the fuel door correctly, I asked them if we were finally done and they said there was a service bulletin to replace the gear shift knob. I thought they were joking with me. They were like no really, the wrong one got installed. I told them they could swap it out when I came in for scheduled service (which was yesterday).

 

I would have never known I had the wrong gearshift knob if the dealer hadn't told me (or I had found this forum).
