2013 Fusion Delays

Ordered mine 12/14, built 1/30, received 2/18, and the mileage is great. No luxury package, only option was myford touch. I dont believe theres an mpg-related issue causing a delay...

Well another newbie here to this Fusion site...ordered my '13 hybrid titanium on Dec 7th....and still waiting on March 31st. Talked to everyone I can about delays. Contacted Ford Customer Care and assigned a Regional CC rep who tells me basically car is built and sitting on "ramp hold" awaiting inspection ....was told when ordered that delivery would be 8-10 weeks and now approaching week 20.....still not car.....be nice to at least know if delays are just capacity or quality-related.

My second order (I went back to the first) was ordered a month before that and won't get built for another 2 weeks, but yours was built already after being ordered a month after mine? Strange how the racking-n-stacking is done.

When was yours built? There are a number of us in this boat. Of course they didn't start building HiTi's until 3-18 so it has only been 2 weeks, but there are cars that came directly off the assembly line onto rail cars.

thanks...my was car built on 3/19. last update was 3/27 on ramp hold

The car I originally ordered in Dec 2012 is still in Mexico on hold. We ended up buying a FFH from a different dealership. I'm happy with my car but somebody knows what's going on regarding the delays and needs to talk.

Great point regarding the secrecy from Ford. If the people at the top are saying not to talk, what person down below is going to risk their job and talk
