Model A Report post Posted February 7, 2011 2010 Fusion SL. When the heater is on floor setting, the foot well on the driver's side is absolutely cold. Some heat can be felt up over the accelerator, but the left side is frigid. The only way I can get some heat to my legs is to completely close the dash vents and put it on floor setting and high fan and high temp. Is this a leak from the outside or just normal? Does the recirculating function have anything to do with it?

Hi Model A. :D From the information contained in your description, it sounds like you have some sort of malfunction in the HVAC system (blend doors etc.). Make an appointment for service or have it taken care of next time your car is in for regular service. It will be covered under Warranty on a 2010 model, assuming you have less than 36,000 miles on the car. Let us know how you make out. Good luck. :beerchug:
Susie Report post Posted July 3, 2013 I took my car to the dealer and the guy gets on his knees and put his hand near the floor heater and said there is heat coming out of there. So as far as they are concerned there is no problem. SO my feet freeze
