I and some others have purchased from one of these sites and have not had any issues.

Your dealer's price will likely be double what you see here. Would never buy a 3rd party

warranty on a car as I am out to avoid any hassle should I have issues.

I don't even know if I am going to put these prices in front of my dealer when I take

delivery. They've been nice and don't want to insult them. They probably hate me

already for the aggressive negotiations.

 

Once your warranty is registered with Ford and the ESP comes up in the computer,

nobody knows or cares where you bought it from and it just works if you need it.

 

Peace of mind I say, but highly debatable some might say.

Why'd you pay the $55 more? Is there sales tax when you buy local?

 

That was my dealer invoice price $55 more than Flood Ford and since he offered it to me as a pass thru I bought it from him and not Flood Ford.

When spending 30k+ the additional $55 for the ESP are peanuts you could also call it lazy on my part.

Floodfordesp.com has the lowest price compared to others I've researched.

 

smr2112, I don't think there would be anything wrong with negotiating these prices with your dealer. Worst case they won't be able to match the price and you buy online. But if they come within $50 (like what corncobs experienced) I think it would make sense to buy from your local dealership.
