Temperature Reading Display

Recommended Posts

Greeting from Canada; I have an 08' Fusion and I love it. However, I do have one thing about the car that is very annoying to me. The inside temperature display that tells me what the temp is outside the car will alternate between Fahrenheight and celcius with the turn of the key. One morning it reads Fahrenheight, then it will switch to Celcius when I start the car later. Besides the outside temp displayed like this, it will switch the inside temp as well. I talked to my local Ford dealer and the service manager said that Ford recognizes that there is a problem and that they are working on it, this seems like bullshit to me. You would think that if this was the case, it would be a simple matter of replacing the software but, in any case, can anyone tell me how I can keep it on Celcius? Thanks for replying.

I actually have no idea how to fix that. Did you try just disconnecting and reconnecting the battery? I mean worth a shot, otherwise, I'd be curious to see what the dealer says, if they say anything.
