Water on door latch

Recommended Posts

Hi !

When I wash my Fusion SEL AWD 2010 and spray water especially on the window of the front door, if I open this door I see some drip of water (I dont know if it's the right terms or words) on the door latch and below. Same thing for left or right door.

Do you think it's normal?

The image is in the TEST section (error): http://www.fordfusionforum.com/index.php?/topic/4982-test/ .

I will try to correct.

Note: My english is not very good but the forum is so interesting!

Thank you,

Hi Fusion 977, :D Yes, a little water in that area is normal. The door/weather seal which is located between the door sill and the interior of the car (and can be seen in the upper left corner area of your picture) keeps that water out of the vehicle interior.

Hope this information helps.

Good luck. :beerchug:
