Jenny T Report post Posted September 26, 2010 Hi,I have a Fusion (56 plate-UK) which I love. However it is developed a rattling/rumbling noise at low speeds in wet weather.Any ideas?I took it to my local Ford garage, who believed they had traced it back to the drive shaft. They replaced the right drive shaft support bearing which they told me had worn away, at a cost of over £200. The noise is still there-and was particularly noisy today in the rain. The noise generally goes away in drier weather-thus the title of my post!I do not want to go back to the same garage, nor have to start over again elsewhere, without more ideas on what it could be.Thanks-in hopeful anticipation!Jenny
xmech2k Report post Posted September 26, 2010 You have the UK Fusion? This forum is for the American Fusion. (See top of page.) It's a sedan, or I guess 'saloon', I believe in europe. Someone may still be able to help you here, but you may have better luck in a more appropriate forum. As far as your problem goes, I'm stumped.
