2010 Fusion SEL center console removal

I'm trying to run wires from the trunk to underneath the dash and have run into a problem removing the center console. I found 2 screws in the front under some caps, 2 near the back when you move the seats forward, and that the ring around the gear shift knob can be removed but it still won't come up. Anyone have any experience with this? Just bought the car less than 2 weeks ago and don't want to snap anything...at least not yet.

I only have the 06-09 model info, not sure how much was changed with redesign.

Thanks! Looks just like the one from a previous year. I see the two screws I have to get to!
