07 rear tire wear

There must be some sort of problem with the specs for this car because I find it hard to believe that two separate shops say its right on the money yet it wears tires like it does.

 

Unless I missed a big thing, this is the first I've heard of this issue on the Fusion, unlike other cars like the Civic, for example. So your statement makes no sense. Being an 07, if it were that big an issue, we would be reading plenty about it. Maybe the car has an accident history or something?
