How to remove door trim panels on '10 Fusion

Trying to locate the source of a horrible rattle inside the pass side door of my '10 SEL. Anyone have the factory assembly drawing showing how the inside door trim is held on? There are a couple obvious torx screws, but there is also some hidden/trick to getting these off. I already tried.

I don't. I haven't tried to remove the doors panels. From the subject line I was hoping you were providing instructions, didn't realize you were asking a question until I read your post.

I have no idea, either. I also thought you were offering a solution.

I'd take the car to the dealer for a warranty fix and be done with it.

Remove the screws around the outside edges of the panel, then remove the screw in the bottom of the door pull. At that point you just have to gently pry off the door panel. There are 7 or 8 clips that hold the door on. It takes a bit of pressure to break them loose.

If Ford sticks with the way they made them in the past, they slide up and off, so do not pry on it or you will break the clips. If you find a little cover on the panel, usually there is a release clip behind it.

Nope - these are held on directly with clips. Just remove the 3 (?) screws, then pry on the edge of the panels and release the clips. The clips are much better than they used to be. I don't recall having to slide the top of the panel on or off like you used to do.

Well, that is good to know then. I plan to tint my windows and will probably remove the panels to make it easier and better looking.
