mwr Report post Posted September 28, 2018 I noticed today that my Ford Roadside Assistance expires at 60,000 miles and I now have 57,000 miles on my 2015 FFH. - Is there a way to renew it (by paying $)? - I'll probably join AAA. Any other ideas?
tclemmer Report post Posted September 28, 2018 I would check with your auto insurance company. I know we pay around $4 or $5 dollars for 6 months to have it on our policy. We are currently using GEICO, but I am sure they are all about the same.

I see no reason to join AAA. I haven't really compared the two, but State Farm's seems fine for my (unlikely or seldom) use.

But AAA provides benefits beyond roadside assistance that AAA members find very useful. The numerous AAA travel discounts can easily pay for your annual membership fee. Waldo Report post Posted October 1, 2018 Many "premium" credit cards include roadside assistance.
